Questions, feedback, and practical ways to support the KnowQR initiative.

KnowQR is currently being built by one person. I read feedback carefully and use it to improve the platform, refine the vision, and prioritise what should be built next.

If you are signed in, you can send feedback using the form below. If you are not signed in yet, you can still read the FAQ and sign in when you want to send a message.

Frequently asked questions

What does KnowQR cost?

For now, KnowQR is free to use. I do not know exactly what the future will bring, and it may become necessary to introduce paid features so the platform can continue to be built, hosted, secured, and maintained.

If that happens, the aim would be to keep ordinary personal use as accessible as possible, while asking more from people or organisations using KnowQR in a larger, more commercial, or more resource-intensive way.

Is KnowQR a charity?

No formal charity has been established. KnowQR is currently an independent initiative being built with the hope of helping people find and create more meaningful communities.

Is KnowQR therapy or crisis support?

No. KnowQR is not therapy, not a crisis service, and not a replacement for professional support. It is a community platform designed to help people find groups that genuinely fit them, with privacy, reflection, and belonging in mind.

How do I contact KnowQR?

If you are signed in, please use the feedback form on this page. This helps keep contact linked to a real KnowQR account while still allowing the app to stay pseudonymous by default in groups and chats.

Where is KnowQR based?

KnowQR is being built from Switzerland by a founder who grew up in the west of Ireland and now lives in Zurich. There is no large office or team behind it at the moment — just one person building carefully, step by step.

What can I do to help?

At the very least, you could share KnowQR with someone who might benefit from it. A small introduction, at the right time, can sometimes change someone’s life for the better.

You could also consider what skill you have to offer the mission. Are you a developer who could help extend the platform? There is already a significant and clear vision of functionality to be developed. Do you have psychology, therapy, coaching, facilitation, moderation, community-building, design, writing, or research skills that could help refine the backlog or improve the experience?

If you are cash rich and time poor, you can also support the initiative financially. Visit the Support page.
