KnowQR is designed to be pseudonymous by default.
In many online spaces, people are asked to present themselves before they are known. Real names, photos, social profiles, job titles, popularity signals, and searchable histories can easily turn connection into performance, judgement, or even stalking.
KnowQR takes a different approach.
In groups, members can begin with a pseudonym. They can participate, reflect, chat, and get to know others without making themselves easily searchable outside the group. Over time, as trust develops, people can choose what to reveal, when to reveal it, and to whom.
That is closer to real life. Before we know someone, we usually meet them gradually. We listen, observe, speak, and decide how much of ourselves to share.
KnowQR is built around that same idea: privacy first, trust over time, and disclosure by choice.
The practical idea
KnowQR helps people find groups that genuinely fit them, while giving them space to be known gradually and safely.
